How it works
How does Talent Dril work?
A Talent Dril is an adaptive AI video interview. It pushes back with follow-up questions, verifies every claim against your role, and scores it across five dimensions, with a signal to help you shortlist.

Four ways to Dril Talent
Same Dril, four ways in.
List on the Dril Board
Publicly listed — candidates self-serve in on their own, no assessment required of them, no action from you after that. The sessions it leads to cost you nothing either; talent fund those themselves.
Invite directly
Already know who you want? Send the Dril straight to them, no discovery wait.
AI Matching
Post a role, then run AI Matching yourself — a fixed batch of real candidates scored against your JD and ranked by fit, any time you click.
Dril the workspace
Add anyone to a workspace, matched or not, and Dril or re-Dril them whenever you want a fresh read.
Four steps, from posting to shortlist.
STEP 1
Create a Dril.
Describe the role. aidril builds the skill requirements from it.
STEP 2
Talent drils themselves.
Talent goes through an adaptive AI video interview that pushes back and follows up.
STEP 3
Get a Dril Card.
Every claim verified, every dimension scored, backed by an exact quote.
STEP 4
Shortlist, connect, chat.
Move forward with the ones who prove it, and start the conversation.
Why not just interview everyone yourself?
You can. Most teams already do, and it's exactly why the first round takes so long. A Dril happens well before you ever get on a call, so the people you do talk to have already proven they can do the work.
Workspaces
Add anyone to a workspace
Matched, invited, or added directly, drilled or not.
You build a curated pool
Keep your best matches organized in one place.
Dril or re-dril anytime
Open their profile whenever you want a fresh read.
Build your own pool of curated talent.
Add any candidate to a workspace, drilled or not, so you can Dril them again later and pick quickly from an already curated pool.

Every Dril Card carries its score and its signal, Strong, Worth a round, or Weak. Star the ones worth coming back to first.
Connect to chat.
Send a connect request to anyone you've already drilled or matched with. They decide whether to accept it, and once they do, you talk right here, no emails or phone numbers to trade.

Thanks for the invite. Happy to talk through the Recovery answer if that's useful.
Great, let's set up a call this week.
Never scored
You decide, always.
aidril scores and verifies claims. The decision to move forward stays with your team, and the rubric behind every score is published and audited.
Before you post a role
Common questions about trust, consent, and cost with aidril.
You review the Dril Card and make the call yourself. Every score ships with the exact quote it’s based on.
Yes. A candidate agrees to be drilled for each specific role.
A $50 minimum balance gets you started. You’re billed per session for an Invite or a Personal Invite, not per posting — a posting just rolls every session up into one line — plus a flat, predictable rate per AI Matching batch if you use it. A self-serve session from the Dril Board costs you nothing, the talent funds that one. Marking a posting completed stops any new session from starting. No contract.
